Cameron and I are hopeless at fighting tentacled monsters.  We 'won' this, but I realized later we miss-read the victory conditions and actually lost.

The rebels had to rescue a prisoner.  But the empire's guards were too effective.

Imperial Assault - Scenario #4

Michael and Johnathan couldnt make it.   This was Chewbacca's side mission - could the rebels help Chewbacca, and hence have him available in later missions.  And the answer was YES.  Chewbacca was formidable in the critical skill of smashing things open!  An easy win for the rebels.

Operation Cromwell fill-in

Operation Cromwell was a bolt action tournament at Area 52.  I filled in for one game.

It was a really exciting game.  I lost badly, but the game came down to who drew the first die on the last turn.  If I had drawn the first die I would have won massively.  It doesnt get much closer than that.

And my opponent was a gentleman, though I cant remember his name :)

An interesting scenario.  The rebels had to spread out to get items at 3 different locations.  This one came down to the wire - rebels got victory on the last possible die roll.

Rocked up late for Bolt Action at Jim's.  Forces were already allocated, so I just watched.

Art de la Collapse

Played Art de la Guerre with John at Barrie's.  My Mongols vs John's Ottoman Turks.  While I convincingly won on one flank, on the other flank I collapsed, and the center evaporated as well!

Imperial Assault - Scenario #2

The first side mission.  Diala was being called by the ghost of her dead master.  Could she overcome her fears and battle the ghosts, and prove worthy of her light saber?  (To cut a long story short, "no".  The ghost of Darth Vader was too strong - way too strong.  Thank goodness it wasn't the real thing!)

Played on terrain made to match the tiles used in the game.  I think I may have set a hard to follow precedent!
