WWI Battlecruisers
WWI naval at Jim's place. An interesting set of home grown rules. A draw, with one ship each side knocked out.

More Vikings
A reprise of 878 Vikings, with the Camp Cromwell crowd.
The Vikings took the north, and ran rampant all over England. But the saxons kept taking cities back, and held on for a tight win!

Chris's Wedding
We have gamed for 30+ years! Also pictured is Mark (Chris's brother) who I played with when we were in High School (I still have his Chinese army), and Steve, who I have also played with for 30 years.

A visit to Jim's
Dropped in to watch a game. Jim was experimenting with his new rules -- Musket Action. They looked good! Draw from the bag to move a unit -- like bolt action with lots of officers.

March his men to the top of the hill, and marched them down again
Got to Jim's late, so spectated a French and Indian war game. The British attacked the French on a ridge and were repulsed.

A sad day at Jim's
Played at Jim's place about a week after Carmel's death. Jim was stoic. it didnt stop him shooting me down in Modder Fokker's! Also played cruel seas where our force was sunk by those dastardly Germans!

The church bells ring in Moscow
When in Alaska I decided I was not getting to Jim's place enough. So headed down for some 'Hail Whomever' action.
A fictitious scenario. Napoleonics -- French vs Russian. French (Jim, Mark, Chris) had 3 small divisions of infantry and a division of guard cavalry. Russians (me, Mike, Steve), had 3 large infantry divisions and some crap cavalry.
In the end, the crap Russian cavalry died to the French Guard cavalry, but they went down fighting. One Russian division died fighting a French division in an orchard, but mauled the French. My division sat in the middle and did nothing. And Steve's division managed to create an angle and maul a French division for no loss.
End result -- The French destroyed 2 Russian divisions for the loss of 1. But the Russians held the field. So both sides claim victory.

Hold the Flank
Napoleonics at Jim's.
I was in charge of the cavalry flank. My orders were to hold - -so I did nothing until the battle was won in the center. Jim and I then had an inconsequential cavalry battle -- but the opposition had lost and had to retreat!
