Farming Failure

Agricola, with a girl from HOGS whose name I cannot remember.

I used to be so good at this game.  But I couldn't remember even the basic mechanics, and was totally schooled.

Got my revenge with 'Welcome to'.  And finished off with Splendor.

Bruce the Sheeple

Played Agricola.  There was some doubts about the game from Cameron and Martha, but they enjoyed it in the end.

Martha's farm with Bruce the sheep.  Bruce was a pet initially, then put into the pens, and finally he was eaten!  Martha missed the comments about Martha's husband and the sheep -- but then again maybe she didnt and that's why Bruce became food!

Crap farming

Went to HOGS and played a couple of games.

Splendor.  I was about to win, but in the move before mine Rob made a winning move and got to 16 points, and I could only get to 15.

Then played Agricola.  Made a bad first move, going for a profession rather than wood.  The profession didn't earn me nearly enough points, and I came in last.  After we went home I realized I forgot a bunch of bonus points, but that would have only made me 2nd last.  But I do love me some Agricola!

Also being played -- Terra Mystica

And a game of Machi Korro to finish up

Farming is so easy ...

A 4 player game of Agricola at the office.

Agricola has to be just about my favorite game.  Partly because I seem to be good at it -- I won this game handily.  But I just like the mechanic and the fact you need to look forward a few turns.

Setting Up

My Farm.  I have expanded the house.  And I had a child so I have an extra farm worker.  I only have 1 cow, and some plowed fields, but lots of stockpiled resources.  Also I piurchased a couple of improvements -- and oven and a basket weaver's workshop.

Mal taking the wood I needed!!!!!

Scoring at the end of the game.  I had managed to get some sheep and a pig, and bought a few more improvements.  Notice I upgraded the house to a stone dwelling.
