Failure at Rooting

 The usual crowd for root.  I left my run as Corvids too late, and finished last, well behind the pack, and well, well behind Martha.

I really like the expansion.  The hirelings act as a catch up mechanic.  After you earn the hirelings and they help for a few turns, you have to give them to someone else -- and it makes sense to give them to the person who is the least threat.

 The bunny collective didnt manage to stave off an overwhelming victory by those pesky cats!

Wednesday Games.  We played Root.

It was incredibly close.  Rob won, with Ross 2 VP away from winning, and Mike and I well back.  BUT -- if Rob hadn't won, on my next move I would have got enough points to win.  And if I hadn't won, Ross was about to go over the finish line.

My first time playing Root.  As usual, totally misplayed my faction.  But what an interesting game!
