Austrian Game Shop

Stefan took me to his local game shop - P3 Games and Comix.

Played Keyforge and Looterz.

Lord of the Austrian Rings

Played Lord of the Rings with Stefan, Nikki's brother.

Christmas Games in Austria

Christmas day played Exploding Kittens and Ligretto with Timmy, Alisia, Cara, Matt, Alex, and Lindsay -- all taking turns to drop in and out.

General Games at Christines

Susan had a school formal, so I snuck out to games at Christine's with Cassie.  Tapestry, Wingspan, Medici, and a diving game -- a lot of games.  Great fun with great people.

Sails of Glory

We had some real sailors - Cameron and Cassie.  And we got lots of rules wrong.  But we had fun blowing each other up.

More Command and Colors Ancients

Ross came over and we played scenarios #2 and #3.  I won #2, Ross won #3.  In the 3rd game Ross figured out how to use light cavalry for devastating effect!  Lesson learnt -- don't leave a gap in the line!

Raging Hogs

Went to Hogs.  A fair turnout -- but there was the usual indecision on games.  I proposed Blood Rage and got 3 takers.  I managed to win using the 'die a lot' strategy.

Cass Returns

Back from sailing, Cass showed up for games again.

Blood rage -- a first time for Cassie and Ross.

Kemet plus expansion

Tried the expansion for Kemet -- verdict is that it adds fun!

Command and Colors Ancients - using miniatures

As the title says, Command and Colors Ancients.  Scenario 1.

HOGS

Went to the Hobart games Society.  Played Takenoko and then Mysterium.

I really screwed this one and almost lost the campaign.  Some Austrians survived in Italy, and they kept building up forces until the broke out and started doing havoc in napoleons rear.

I romped through this -- a major win.

African Campaign

This was the game that got me started in wargaming.  And god, its a great game!!!

Played with Cameron.  We got 1/2 way through and stopped, to continue later.  However, on reflection Cameron thinks he made a major mistake and he conceded.

Charterstone

Continuing the campaign.  I didn't do very well -- I need to start building structures quickly!
