Visit to Barries
A quick visit to Barries to pick up some LBM Shield decals. Barrie and Darren were playing Sharp Practice II. As usual, the table was fantastic!!!

Attack at the Sunday School House
Barrie's Sunday School get together.
In the background there was a game of Saga, as we prepared for the Saga campaign.
But I played in the Muskets and Tomahawks game with Barrie, John, and Rusty. This was a close run thing. As Indians (me) and French (Barry), we had to raid a convoy of supply wagons and terrified women. The indians didnt do too well, but did manage a few scalps. And they captured a supply wagon. The French couer de bois Militia also managed to capture the English women.
We abandoned the game, which was probably a minor British victory, to set up the Saga campaign for the next few weeks.

WWI Dogfight at Barries

My Fokker got on the tail of a bomber. The bomber was on fire. The rear machine gun jammed. I peppered it with shots. But it just wouldnt go down. Finally the rear gunner unjammed his machine gun and shot me out of the sky! Very cinematic!

Wings of War at Barries
A 6 player wings of war game!
My Roland was a slow, un-maneuverable tank!!!! My strategy was to fly toward where the battle was, and hope I could get a shot in.
The game did look good!!!!
At one point I was surrounded by enemy -- they were circling for blood!!!!
But in the end my comrades came back to my rescue. Barry's plane went down in an explosion. Jim's had engine damage and he just couldnt maneuver -- he eventually flew off the table (and hence out of the game) by accident. Which left one allied plane left that headed for the hills!
