Sad Solo

I played C&C Medieval using the solo play system.  The scenario didnt really work -- the battle was set up with a massive Byzantine sneak attack on the left.  But the Byzantine player never drew an Attack Left card.  So they were steamrolled.

C&C x 3

A Command & Colors evening.  WW1, Ancients, and Medieval.

I lost the medieval game when Jon rolled 4 casualties (4 x 1 in 6), followed by a leader kill -- another 1 in 6.  The gods really hated me!

A Keene Starter

Added Andrew to the usual wargames crew.  He can only make it once a month - but he is a keen player.

We did 3 lots of command and colors.

- Leuctra using Command and Colors Ancients

- Somme using Great War

- 4th scenario (whose name I forget) in Command and Colors Medieval.

Catalun Fields

Two games of Command and Colors Medieval using miniatures.  We did the left and right flanks of the Catalun Fields.  Ross won the first scenario easily, and I won the second in a slug fest - so overall victory to Ross.

Command and Colors Medieval #1

Command and Colors Medieval is so much better than the ancients version - mainly because the Quick Reference sheet is better organized.  We started off with Scenario #1 - Romans vs Huns.  In honour, I painted the late Roman army I bought 15+ years ago!
