Falling half way

 Falling Skies.  But we had to stop the game 1/2 way through, to be picked up later.

Maria's Reprise

 Maria, yet again.  As the French, I destroyed the Pragmatic army, and sought victory in the Netherlands.

From Simon: 

While Bohemia degenerated into a three-way stand off, Cameron’s Pragmatic Army launched a stunning attack into Northern France and almost pulled off a victory. Nick narrowly (with Austrian tacit support) managed to reposition his armies by forced marches, and overran Cameron’s supply train inside France - leading to annihilation. 

Cameron’s Prussians then finally tried their luck against my Austrians, and narrowly came off second best. Nick had withdrawn his French and Bavarians from the campaign in Austria, and the Saxons had gone neutral, so the Prussians were going to be under pressure fighting Austria alone. 

Nick also played the politics section well, gaining extra troops and taking resources off the Austrians. Overall he had the best of it again, but I’m claiming a draw as he still has a lot of work to do when we pulled stumps at 2200!

Cancon! Lardies Special!

 Went to Cancon.  Didnt play a game, but watched, and bought stuff!  Had lunch with Owen, and watched him run a game.

I suck at ranching

 Great Western Trail.  Rob destroyed us.  I am positive we got a ton of rules wrong - but it was fun.

Strategy for this game was to crush the Austrians in Austria -- which largely worked.

Eclipsed (just)

 Got Eclipse to the table.  I LOVE the 2nd edition, but it is long, and the new races are required to get some variety.

Waterloo x2

 Played Waterloo twice as a 3 player game.  The French hadnt figured out how to win -- but they were getting close to mastering a strategy.

Lost in India

 Played at Andrew's place.  Played Rajah of the Ganges, which was great fun -- but I totally screwed up my strategy by trying to build out my city rather than concentrate on other options.

Then played trails, which it turns out is a great little game!
