Isolation K2

Played K2, the mountain climbing game.  I got to the top of the mountain, but miscalculated my oxygen, and my climber died.  This is a game that requires careful though, memorisation of cards remaining (in a small deck), careful risk management, etc.  I.e., the more you play the better you become.

Isolation Hogs

HOGS membership has collapsed while meeting virtually -- about 8 people showed up for a virtual meet instead of the usual 30.

Played 6 Nimmt.  An interesting game, but not one I would seek out to play again.

Isolation Russian Railroads

I still dont grok this game.  Getting better at it, but havent figured out the synergies.

J had to quit early.  I came in the middle, but Rob was the standout winner.

The more I play Through the Ages, the more I like it!

A three player game with Ross and Rob.  Rob won with a military strategy.

Tried Through the Ages again.  I got a scoring combo that pushed me to an unbeatable lead.  Note to self -- there are some subtle combos all through this game -- exploiting them can be amazing!

Played Terra Mystica on Boardgamearena.  I still don't grok this game.
