Long Lost Leon!

 Leon turned up.  Lots of party games.  Plus birthday cake for Rob.

I was a tasty snack

 I tried Too Many Bones solo.

I like this game.  But on day 5 of the campaign I was captured by trolls and failed to escape, so I was their dinner.

A Pleasant Tea Party

 Wonderland Wars. Madd Hatter vs Red Queen vs Cheshire Cat etc.  I really enjoyed this game. 

Failure at Rooting

 The usual crowd for root.  I left my run as Corvids too late, and finished last, well behind the pack, and well, well behind Martha.

Taylor!

 Taylor was back for a visit.  Modern Art is hard the first time you play it.  Yet Taylor came second, beating far more experienced hands!

Botted

 Orleans.  I had to take a call, so they played the first few turns for me.  it wasnt bad, but wasnt what I was planning to do.  But this is a great game!

Sad Solo

 I played C&C Medieval using the solo play system.  The scenario didnt really work -- the battle was set up with a massive Byzantine sneak attack on the left.  But the Byzantine player never drew an Attack Left card.  So they were steamrolled.

Ryan Takes All

 Ryan returned with a shift back to Thursday games.  He won 6 games for the evening -- 3 games of Turing Machine and 3 of Mind Management.

Confusion in the Souk

Marakesh is a great game!  But the first play through is an exercise in confusion!

 

Ross's Game Selection

 Just the two of us.  Sekigahara was on Ross's wish list, so we pulled it out.  A tense, close game that Ross narrowly won on the last term.

Halloween Airlock Fun

 Nemesis, in honor of Halloween.  5 players, and 3 of them new.  So the game wa slow.  But, amazingly enough, when we called it at 10:00 no one had been eaten!

Cass murdered me at Set.  I later discovered she has a skill at the whole pattern matching stuff.

 Francis Drake.  Was an interesting game at 3 player -- but would have been even better at 4 or 5.

 Light games, which meant multiple playings of Good Cop / Bad Cop.  I had to duck out to help with mum.

C&C x 3

 A Command & Colors evening.  WW1, Ancients, and Medieval.  

I lost the medieval game when Jon rolled 4 casualties (4 x 1 in 6), followed by a leader kill -- another 1 in 6.  The gods really hated me!

Perfection

 A perfect day.  A great hike, followed by games.  Modern Art, plus some games I have forgotten.
