A Lethal Combo

 Dune.  Martha and I got the win by winning three battles.  Martha (Atreidies) would use prescience to predict how the attack would work.  I (Harkonen) had so many cards I could assassinate the attacker's leader.  And a treachery added spice!

Played Dune with the new factions.  

Rob fought a battle, and his army was destroyed in a nuclear explosion.

Rob didnt win a single battle in the whole game.  he still won in alliance with Cass.

Birthday Betrayal

 Back from fishing, we had a full house.  Except at the last minute Cass bailed.  We had agreed to play Dune, and we played a 5 player game.

I was allied with Ross, but he ditched me to play with Andrew.

I was allied with Martha, but she ditched me to play with Rob

In the end Martha got the win by dragging the clock out.

 What a fantastic game!

We called it at 10, having played 6 of 10 turns.  We needed longer.  But the game swung back and forwards.

Ross was probably going to be the winner -- everyone else was spent!  Andrew ALMOST pulled off a victory because no one was paying attention.
