Gloomhaven Scenario #2 Attempt 2
We replayed Scenario 2. We lost. Again. This scenario is supposed to be easy, but we cant figure it out.
(After many replays, I have decided we were doomed by our initial choice of characters. With no heavy damage hitters but 3 support characters, we just couldnt do the damage required!)

Gloomhaven - Scenario #1
Our first try at Gloomhaven. A great game. Cameron didn't help with the monsters, sneaking around and taking all the treasure!

Pandemic Legacy Hobart - December
We Won!!!! Barely. Final score was 541 out of 1000.
December proved to be easy. We had the hang of inoculating cities. helped by the fact that the infection deck contained a cities that could be inoculated, and we had built lots of vaccine factories. And we had 6 funded events!

Complicated Cows
Great Western trail at Camerons. Consensus was that it is too complex. Lots of mechanics that add nothing but complexity.

Pandemic Legacy Hobart - November

And we lost spectacularly!!!!

Pandemic Lagacy Hobart -- September I
So close. We thought the initial disease break was tricky, with two outbreaks very close to each other. Things looked bad when we got an epidemic on the first turn. But none of the outbreaks expanded, and we quickly got all diseases under control. We were about to cure two diseases, and the game looked so easy to win. Then we got an epidemic -- a disease broke out next to our two close outbreaks, and then both outbreaks expanded, and in a set of chain reactions we lost the game, just like that.

Bruce the Sheeple
Played Agricola. There was some doubts about the game from Cameron and Martha, but they enjoyed it in the end.

August - Pandemic Legacy Hobart
We tried using the colonel for the first time. He was shooting faded left, right, and center. An easy victory this month! (We still havent searched for the virologist -- I think we are setting ourselves up for a hard time!)

Tigris and Euphrates
A great game I really, really enjoyed. Martha crushed Cameron and I. Lesson learnt -- never build a ziggurat!!!!

Cameron and Christine battle it out on Mars!
Meanwhile, I am left in the dust.
We have fallen in love with Terraforming Mars!!!!
This was such a close game -- Christine got 140, and Cameron 135 points. I was a poor last, with 80 points. Like Cameron last game, I built a great engine, and then didnt have time to catch up!!!!

What are your predators? Tyrannosaurus Rex's!
Christine had to cancel at short notice, so we didn't play Pandemic -- we played Terraforming Mars instead. It was a great game, the highlight of which was Martha's Tyrannosaurus Park which kept eating my cattle and powered her to victory, despite me dropping a couple of asteroids onto her facilities. (Martha went heavily into exotic animal parks). Cameron was peaceful and was the energy king, powering the planet -- if the game had gone longer he would have won.
