Arkham Horror: The Circle Undone #8

 We completed 'The Circle Undone'.  And we won -- maybe.  My character ended up having to spend eternity playing a flute to keep the mad god asleep ....

Death of the Red Baron

 Wings of Glory with the Dicemen.  The Red baron was shot down, along with all of the German planes, for the loss of an allied Sopwith Camel.

New Orleans

We played Orleans.  Brand new, out of the box!  Martha trounced us!  Taewo joined us for the first time, and while last was very close to the rest of us.

Finished C&C Ancients - Rome vs Carthage

We got to the last two scenarios - Great Plains and Zama.  Carthage lost both, but gave the Romans a scare in Zama.  As historically, the elephants caused issues for the Romans, but in the end didnt do enough.

I managed to come last!  I havent groked this game yet!

C&C Ancients in Spain

We are getting close to the end of our Punic Wars C&C Ancients games.  Played Mataurus and Illipia.  The Carthaginians (me) managed a win against the Romans at Metaurus, but lost at Illipia.

We then played two games of Undaunted - the first 2 scenarios.

Real Eclipse

We started early to get a full game of eclipse in.  It was close -- Ross won with 40 points, but Cass and I had 39.

Undaunted

Leon lent me undaunted, and Cameron and I got in 4 games.  As we played more, we understood the subtelties more -- there is some real depth hidden in this game.

Saga and Undaunted

Leon came over and we played Saga -- which ended in a bloody draw where both commanders killed each other.

We then went on to play Undaunted -- which has rave reviews.  I liked it -- it is a fun, light WWII deck builder.  Shut up and Sit down absolutely rave over this game.

6 Player Eclipse

We got Eclipse to the table.  We didnt finish -- at 10 we abandoned the game.  But everyone loved it so much that we are playing again next week.

More Command and Colors

Finally picked up on Command and Colors Ancients.  We played two games.  In the first game I won in two moves by killing the Roman general, which was one of the victory conditions.  In the second game the Carthaginians got creamed.  But good to get back to the table!

Tigris and Euphrates and Arboretum

Tigris and Euphrates.  Even though it was Cass's first game, she won convincingly.

Learning Lock and Load Tactical

Cameron has got the computer version, and I have all of the modules I picked up from Rod.  So we tried out a simple Normandy scenario.  Some paratroops defending a crossroads after the D-Day para drops.

The game was fun.  As the Para's, I won - but mainly because my MG managed to do excessive casualties.

First real FTF game -- Dertosa

Ross came over, and we continued our Command and Colors campaign.  We did Dertosa and 2nd Beneventum

Ross (as Romans) crushed the Carthaginians at Dertosa.  But the Carthaginians got a narrow victory at 2nd Beneventum.

Command and Colors Double

In the morning I introduced Leon to Command and Colors Great War (scenario #5).  Then in the evening Ross came over for more Command and Colors Ancients.

First Game in Reorganised Garage

Played Wings of Glory.  Cameron won, by shooting down the spotter plane I had to protect.  But he didnt escape without most of his planes also being shot down!
