Art de la Guerre -- War of the Roses

My Lancastrian force, led by Percy, moved South.  With Scottish pikemen, northern militia, and a small retinue I came up against Carl with an elite force of knights and archers.

It was a close game.  Carl broke my force.  But if he hadnt I would have broken him next turn with 3 flank attacks about to charge home.  So close but so far!

Pandemic Legacy -- Hobart -- January

We have started Pandemic Legacy in Hobart.  Playing with Cameron, Christine, Martha, and me.

We started the January game with a fairly standard roster of Medic, Dispatcher, Researcher, and Scientist.  We won, but only just.  Cameron "we have the game wrapped up" Harris drew a bad epidemic card, and we had 3 outbreaks on the last turn!  Net result is a pair of rioting cities!!!!  And we are only at January!!!!

Went to HOGS with Marie and gave Martha a lift.

Played Galaxy Trucker.  I thought Marie would be great at it, as she is so good a jigsaws.  But it turns out that Galaxy Trucker is just not her game -- her ship got blown apart twice!

We started off with Seven Wonders.

A very, very, very close game, that could have gone either way.  I won, as Romans -- but I was teetering on the brink of defeat for the last 3 turns!

A quick practice game to get into Pandemic legacy.  We won easily.

A close game, where the pikes were devastating, but the Indians managed to outflank the Macedonians on each flank to get a victory.

Carl creamed me, killing 2 of my 3 generals, and paralyzing my army.  I tried to outmaneuver, stuffed it, and was comprehensibly defeated!!!
