Solo Saturday

 Marvel Champions - Spiderman vs Rhino

I played this a couple of times the days before, and had to watch a Youtube on how to play the game.  Turns out is was playing on expert mode without an expert deck!.  Finally figured the game out, and as advertised the first scenario is an easy introduction.

More Arkham and Crappy Tanks

We started off playing Tanks.  There had been a 50% off sale and I bought a pile.  A quick playing revealed the game had virtually no maneuver and was a dice rolling exercise - blech!

Ross and I continued the Arkham Horror campaign.  After our defeat in Paris we woke up in the catacombs.  We had to find the villain and the way out ...

(Which we did easily)

Charterstone Continues

 Continued with Charterstone.  I am being smashed in this campaign -- but can I avoid being last?

Exploring Paris

 In typical Arkham horror fashion - we thought we were exploring Paris looking for clues.  Turns out we were being hunted!  Ross succumbed quickly.  I made it for two of the three days I had to survive - but didnt get to the end.

Poor Sailing

We headed to Jim's after a long gap to do some sailing.  Me and Steve (British) vs Ross and Cameron (French and Spanish)

Ross, as the Spanish, engaged the British first.  And got hammered!  Meanwhile, I was trying to catch up to Cameron, who was trying to get into position to help Ross - but neither of us managed to do anything before Ross was destroyed.  That left the French outnumbered 2:1 and they wisely withdrew.

Also some pictures of Jim's English Civil War figures.  These were the figures we used when we played the first ever Wargame at Jim's place - well over 45 years ago.

4 Player Arkham

 Taewoo and Michael joined us for games.  We did an Arkham Horror scenario - continuing our campaign, but adding in some extra characters.  Turns out we won this one easily.  And the prebuilt Characted Taewoo was using -Winifred - was fantastic!
