Pandemic Legacy -- Hobart -- May

Disaster.  Disease everywhere.  Zombies everywhere.

We lost to too many outbreaks, right before we lost too running out of time.  We were rubbish!

Crap farming

Went to HOGS and played a couple of games.

Splendor.  I was about to win, but in the move before mine Rob made a winning move and got to 16 points, and I could only get to 15.

Then played Agricola.  Made a bad first move, going for a profession rather than wood.  The profession didn't earn me nearly enough points, and I came in last.  After we went home I realized I forgot a bunch of bonus points, but that would have only made me 2nd last.  But I do love me some Agricola!

Went to Hogs and played Captain Sonar.

This is a great game.  Not the best game ever, but definitely something every gamer should play once.  So much fun!!!!

Basically, its a giant game of battleship, with the ships moving.  My team won -- because the opposing team managed to blow up their own sub with collateral damage from a torpedo that was meant to hit us, but missed (because they miss-calculated where we were)

The Zombie Apocalypse has started.  We managed to beat the game for April, but Mumbai is city zero for the zombie plague!!!!

Art de la Guerre -- Macedonians vs Persians

Went to Johns and taught him Art de la Guerre.

When my flank march came on he thought the game was over.  But it wasnt -- he went on to win by smashing my center and right, while holding off the flank march just long enough.

Art de la Guerre -- Samurai

Carl and John had an Art de la Guerre battle using Samuarai at Griggsy's place.  I provided a table and rules, but otherwise spectated.

Pandemic Legacy -- Hobart -- March

It took us two tries in the one night, but me managed to complete March.

The first game was so close -- we had the cards to cure a disease (and eradicate it), and we just needed to build one more military base.  And then the red disease went berserk and we lost.  So we tried again.  The second game was much longer.  Having built a military base as the bonus for the lost game, we built more military bases, and used them to fly military personnel around the world preventing outbreaks.
